The all-new 2012 Infiniti FX
The Infiniti FX is a terrific SUV that is about to get better. The new 2012 model year provides some upgrades to an already excellent crossover.
A new grill, bumper and surrounding bodywork have been added to the high-end exterior, adding an element of style to the SUV that Edmunds says is "far more fun to drive than a Lexus RX 350".
There's already a lot that sets the Infiniti FX ahead of the competition such as high-tech safety features, sporty performance and fashion-forward styling, and the 2012 model will further broaden the gap. A 3.5-liter V6 engine produces 303 HP, or you can choose the 5.0-liter V8. Both are matched with a seven-speed automatic. The FX35 offers rear-wheel drive, while all other incarnations offer all-wheel drive. In addition to the traditional trim levels, there will be a new FX35 Limited Edition with all-wheel drive, and a number of option packages that creep into FX50 territory. It also boasts a unique exterior color along with 21-inch wheels, tinted headlights and trim pieces.
