DIY CARE TIPS:
Keeping your Infiniti well-maintained is easy thanks to South Infiniti's comprehensive service plan. Between these scheduled service appointments, though, there are a few components on your Infiniti that you can check on a monthly basis, just to make sure little issues don't become bigger more expensive ones down the road. Check your battery cable ends for signs of corrosion. This step will make sure you're keeping a solid charge, and you'll avoid expensive replacement fees later.
Make sure both your headlights and your taillights are functioning properly, in addition to the dash lights, brake lights and reverse tail lights.
Start the engine, keep it in park, and listen to it with the hood raised. Keep an ear out for unusual sounds and if you hear anything questionable, give our service department a call and we can lend an expert opinion over the phone and determine if it would benefit from an inspection.
Make sure your windshield wipers are not dry and/or cracked, and that they have consistent contact with the windshield. This will ensure you have no visibility issues next time you are caught by one of South Florida's frequently unpredictable rain sessions.
Late model Infinitis have a built-in tire pressure monitor, but for the older models, you'll want to manually ensure your tires are properly inflated. This will keep you safe, and help with gas mileage and tire life. Once you are done with your inspection, be sure to give us a call regarding any concerns you may have. Our factory-trained service department will help you determine what needs to be done, and schedule you an appointment if necessary.
