Upon first sight, the all-new 2008 Infiniti EX35 is unmistakably an Infiniti. The headlights and grill are comfortably familiar, the hood characteristically long, and the profile predictably suggesting motion. Overall, the exterior aesthetics are clearly Infiniti-born.
Regarding performance, the Infiniti EX's 297 horsepower V6 is certainly ready for every place you might need a speed boost or power. The EX's rear wheel drive gives it a distinct advantage over its competitors with front wheel drive- you'll get none of the under-steering and front-to-rear weight imbalances so evident during a ride in vehicles of a similar class. In fact, the drive is so smooth and responsive, you'll feel like you are driving a standard sedan, not a high-wheeled SUV.
The cabin of the Infiniti EX35 is visually striking, with a center stack housing the controls, the climate settings, and an amazing 11-speak Bose sound system. The optional navigation system is also housed here, and is accessed through a push button control panel.
All in all, the 2008 Infiniti EX35 is an excellent example of high-tech engineering and well-thought design. It is a SUV that drives like a sedan, blending a perfecting mix of power, agility, luxury and beauty - all wrapped up in a well-priced package.
